The Môdrome was built in 1964 according to a design by M.F. Duintjer and originally served as a garment factory of the company Stibbe. The concrete and glass structure was typical for the function of the building and characteristic both of the spirit of the times and the work of the architect. The building measures over 5,600 square metres and is a municipal monument. It offers a unique industrial atmosphere, history and image. With the purchase of this building, Boelens de Gruyter is expanding its Amsterdam property portfolio in an urban district that is undergoing strong development.
